Haven of Favor is FHSS's residential housing and supportive services program for mothers and their children experiencing housing instability.
Through Haven of Favor, families receive access to safe, stable housing while mothers work alongside FHSS staff to address barriers, strengthen economic stability, access community resources, and prepare for sustainable permanent housing.
Haven of Favor is not defined by one type of property. FHSS may utilize single family homes, apartments, multifamily residences, or other appropriate housing arrangements to meet the needs of the families we serve.
As FHSS expands, each residential location will become part of the Haven of Favor network, allowing us to serve more mothers and children while maintaining the individualized, trauma informed support at the heart of our model.
Every Haven of Favor location is intended to provide a safe, welcoming environment where mothers and their children can focus on stability, growth, and their next steps toward independence.
While accommodations may vary by location, FHSS prioritizes:
• Safe and appropriate residential environments
• Family centered living arrangements
• Access to individualized case management and supportive services
• Connection to employment, healthcare, behavioral health, childcare, transportation, and other community resources
• Housing navigation and preparation for sustainable permanent housing
• A trauma informed environment that respects the dignity, privacy, and individual needs of each family
